If you are a Long Day Care, Family Day Care, OOSH or Vacation Care service in NSW, we can provide FREE inclusion support to children from multicultural, migrant and refugee backgrounds in your care.
How we support you
Multicultural Inclusion Workers draw on their language skills, cultural knowledge and educational expertise to:
Nurture the confidence, identities, wellbeing and school-readiness of children from multicultural backgrounds.
Ensure effective communication between children, families and educators.
Strengthen culturally inclusive practice and competency among educators.
Develop resources to support culturally responsive programming.
Help to identify additional support needs.
Support children in their transition to school
Eligibility
If you are a Commonwealth-funded service, then you can access full funding for Multicultural Inclusion Support through the Inclusion Support Program (ISP) Innovative Solutions stream. For more information go to https://idfm.org.au/funding-streams/innovative-solutions
How to Apply
Step 1
Contact your local Inclusion Agency on
1800 703 382 and identify ECSC as your preferred provider.
Step 2
Submit your application below.
Step 3
Receive a tailored inclusion program and financial quote from ECSC's Multicultural Services Team.
Step 4
Submit the program and quote to your local Inclusion Agency to obtain funding approval.
Step 5
Receive your Multicultural Inclusion Support from ECSC.
