We organise a trained worker to look after the client through providing supervision and assistance so that their carers will have a break from their usual caring duties.
Our Flexible Respite activities include:
One-on-one structured activities to give clients a social experience to develop, maintain or support independent living and social interaction and offer respite to their carer. Daytime support service for carers of clients needing assisted support in the carer’s or the client’s home.
We provide good quality respite care for elderly people so that carers can take a break.

If you have someone that wishes to receive Social Support (individual and/or group) services or Respite (Flexible and/or Centre-Based) services from us, let the My Aged Care Contact Centre know about their preference for Multicultural Aged Care Services provided by Ethnic Community Services Co-operative.
You can contact My Aged Care on their behalf on 1800 200 422 to find out about services that will assist them to continue to live independently at home.
If you speak a language other than English, please say the name of the language when you call My Aged Care and they will organise an interpreter for you. You can phone TIS (Translating and Interpreting Services) on 131 450 and ask them to contact My Aged Care.
We also support a range of activities to support, develop and strengthen the home support service system through Multicultural Access Project.
